Whether you like classy or flashy we've got you covered with our custom converted ceilings. Choose from either a classy star pin dot ceiling covered in suede just like the Rolls Royce Phantom or the Maybach style multi-colored square panel limousine ceiling.

Aircraft Desks
Our commander has speciality modular desks for secondary seating that disappear while not in use. These desks are built of aircraft grade aluminum and have a real authentic hard-wood top. The main control center desk is built from acrylic and features a pull out keyboard drawer.
Command Center
The command center is the heart of the commander vehicle. Sporting at 55" television connected to a Microsoft or Apple based computer system and a full size computer keyboard and mouse this is the ultimate mobile office.
Tablet Control
The commander also makes use of two mounted tablets in the command center to control external devices such as drones, lighting, refrigeration and other vehicle essentials. You can alternatively use these as additional monitors.

We Opened!

November 5, 1964

23-year-old Ken Boyar bought into a failing body shop, Al’s Collision Works. Within two years, Boyar had turned the opera­tion around, purchased the remainder of the company, and renamed it Auto Body Concepts. Boyar again reinvented the company in 1973 by renaming it MacGregor Custom Coach and moving facilely into the customizing business.

New Opportunities

September 19, 1980

During this time, Boyar developed a close relationship with Carlos Allen. American Pullman was building pri­marily on General Motors chassis, while Allen built on Lincolns, which Boyar sold for him. Allen convinced Boyar to join his operation. Boyar closed American Pullman and opened APC Sales Corp. to market the limousines he and Allen built under Allen Coachworks. He also established a limousine maintenance facility to attend to existing limousines in the New York area (today managed by Boyar’s son, Adam). Boyar split his time between New York and Laredo until 1989, when Allen Coachworks was bought out.

Nuevo Laredo

April 10, 1992

Boyar’s next move came in 1992 in the form of Laredo Coachworks, now LCW Automotive Corp, which suc­cessfully grew into the 1990s.

5th Door

September 19, 1994

LCW developed the 54” 5th door with a 12 inch dead panel. This allowed a very large entry space for brides and wedding parties to enter the side of the vehicle.

Fiber Glass Comp.

November 27, 1998

LCW developed a fiberglass composite raised roof and body allowing for the appearance of the vehicle to remain the same but, giving the passengers and additional inches of headroom throughout the limousine.

Funeral Industry

March 15, 2001

During 2001/2002 LCW was actively supporting the industry and expanding its presence in the funeral industry with a exciting new 48-inch Six door Cadillac that featured a 3-inch raised roof, a flat floor, a unique full-size spare tire and storage compartment and special mid-mount air-conditioning as “standard” packaging for the professional limousine.

In 2005, LCW moved its headquarters to San Antonio, and haven’t looked back. With over 45 years of experience in luxury conversions to fall back on, LCW is proud to be an in-house operation.

Welcome to the arrival of the Galactic RV division. The leaders in luxury limousines, decided to build the most luxurious recreational vehicle on the market. Built on a one-ton (3500) Mercedes-Benz Sprinter chassis (11,300 GVWR) and wrapped in some of the highest quality stunning materials and integrated smart technology there is nothing quite like these Class B RV’s.

LCW Automotive Corp., has a 45-year history of being a limousine coach builder. In the 1970’s LCW was busy extending Cadillac conversions based on the then Cadillac formal limousines, Lincoln long cars, 46-inch Mercedes and converting Rolls Royce sedans into convertibles. In the 1980’s LCW was the first to deliver the Lincoln and Cadillac long door, as well as the 6-inch wide-body Lincoln with a distinctive raised roof design. The 1990’s were full of innovations for this mid-sized converter of quality conversions and LCW became Lincoln QVM and Cadillac CMC certified and have remained so to this day.  They are also an active member of the QVM/CMC Vehicle Manufacturer’s Association.

During 2001-2002 LCW was actively supporting the industry and expanding its presence in the funeral industry with a exciting new 48-inch Six door Cadillac that featured a 3-inch raised roof, a flat floor, a unique full-size spare tire and storage compartment and special mid-mount air-conditioning as “standard” packaging for the professional limousine. Recently, LCW has been entrusted by Cadillac with building the two West Wing TV show presidential limousines that actor, Martin Sheen, uses when he plays President Bartlett. In the past few years LCW has diversified into the RV market developing their new product line “Galactic”. This new product is being built as an RV with limousine luxury.
